Would You Like To Be A Driver For Air Namibia?
In this position, you will be responsible to transport Air Namibia personnel, passengers, guests, luggage/goods and company mail safely and on time and from defined destinations according to schedule and as instructed by the Supervisor.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
•Performs pre-trip vehicle checks to ensure the roadworthiness of the vehicle.
•Delivering or collecting vehicles, when booked for service intervals, repairs or cleaning to/from agreed Supplier.
•Completes the vehicle logbook, when using the vehicle with regard to all required details.
•Completes sign on/sign off the list before and after any trip.
•Refuels the vehicle whenever required in line with the set procedure, and records the details thereof in the logbook.
•Assist with vehicle license renewals.
•Transports all staff members to the airport and ensures that such staff members can report at their respective workstations on time and return safely back to domicile or drop-off stations.
•Transporting passengers, cargo, procurement or catering items, furniture, company-mail and guests.
•Responsible for all executive/VIP transfers and deliver all highly confidential mail/documents.
•Transports and delivers recovered luggage items that have been found after being reported missing, to the specific destination as directed.
•Two (2) years’ experience with no history of major accidents within the past two (2) years.
•Driver’s License code CE or Code C1 without endorsements.
•Public Drivers Permit
•Good communication skills
•Excellent driving skills/safe driving ability
•Excellent knowledge of Windhoek’s road network
•Excellent knowledge of all road traffic regulations
•High sense of responsibility and always reachable via phone.
