Key Account Consultant

FlySafair requires the services of a Key Account Consultant that will report to the Sales and Distribution Manager and be based at Bonaero Park.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To be a key individual who deals with the day-to-day management of accounts that the airline runs with third parties including but not limited to travel tour operators (wholesalers), Travel Agents and corporate clients;
  • This individual will be required to create, manage, invoice and report on reservations made on behalf of these clients;
  • This role will involve the maintenance of a weekly status report with these clients;
  • To make, manage and invoice reservations on behalf of these clients, ensuring that all terms of the relevant sales contract are maintained;
  • To prepare weekly reports on the management of these key accounts to share with the client;
  • To conduct weekly meetings with clients to ensure that their bookings are properly maintained, their accounts are up to date and that they receive top quality service;
  • Team member will be directly supervised by Sales and Distribution Manager, but must run each account with an entrepreneurial spirit;
  • 90% of calls need to be answered within 1 minute of ringing;
  • All email queries are to be responded to in 1 hour.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric (Grade 12);
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel;
  • Must have training in Zendesk, Phone Systems, Radix System as well as PayU;
  • Experience in travel/bookings is essential;
  • 3+ Years of experience in an administrative role;
  • Experience as a client facing key account representative is essential.

  • Must be detail oriented and extremely organized;
  • Has to be very professional in demeanor and presentation;
  • Must have a hunger to grow our business and the confidence to approach each account as their own business that they need to grow and improve.
