1. Commercial Delivery
•Accountable for IATA’s achievement of an assigned client segment or IATA Solutions (products and services) Portfolio target across the region;
•Develop sales plan for own target category as part of the regional sales plan and coordinate action plans on a country by country basis, to achieve the assigned client segment or IATA Solutions Portfolio commercial targets across the region, ensuring both a unified regional approach and an adequate country/ cluster specific coverage;
•Support mapping of value-add solutions to member and other stakeholder account needs as received by Account Managers;
•Support enhancing existing IATA`s solutions as well as support identifying new, high quality, market-driven products, services and industry initiatives based on sound market intelligence and customer satisfaction about products and services delivered, competition trends and behaviors for own target category in collaboration with the Cluster Team and the regional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
•Participate in building and maintaining a proactive and coordinated approach to relationships with regional stakeholders, and ensure the region is following best practices in account management.
•Maintain fairness and impartiality in order to preserve and protect the best interest and continuing viability and effectives of the Association
•Provide timely report via regional CRM to the Cluster Project Lead and the regional PMO regarding the progress of work and the achievement of set objectives;
•Working together with global and regional product specialists, marketing and product managers to fulfill the customer needs; and maintain a regular exchange with product managers.
•Prospecting and penetrating new businesses through qualified leads;
2. Cluster Team Work and Expert Knowledge
•Collaborate with and support the Cluster Project Team in an agile way;
•Partner with regional Subject Matter Experts to ensure a constant upskilling and regional capacity building;
•Provide timely reports to the Cluster Project Leaders regarding progress of work of the set objectives
•Maintain a proactive relationship with Subject Matter Experts at Headquarter level where applicable and benefit from expert guidance;
•Support fostering a culture of inclusion, integrity, team spirit, strategic thinking, partnering, innovative pioneering and acting with a human touch.
•Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, economics or other relevant disciplines;
•Minimum 6 years’ experience with at least 4 years of experience in a senior commercial management role at a regional level
•Experience in the aviation industry is a requirement
•Advanced Proficiency in MS Office and CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
•Fluency in English (CEFR: C1)
•Advanced degree is an asset e.g. MBA
•Previous experience in project management, account management, consulting or business development would be a distinct advantage;
•Proficiency in regional languages (CEFR B1)
