A uniquely exciting opportunity has arisen for individuals within the Airport Management Division at O.R. Tambo International Airport 
Key Performance Outputs
The successful candidate, reporting to the Assistant Manager Service Quality will be responsible for the following:
  • Compiling and submitting various reports.
  • Building, supporting and maintaining interpersonal and team relationships to ensure a stable working environment and achievement of team objectives.
  • Overseeing work allocated to other departments.
  • Executing the QMS observations in line with process requirements.
  • Coordinating stakeholder survey processes and analyzing survey results.
  • Ensuring adherence to ACSA’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Supporting ad-hoc operational projects within set requirements.
  • Highlighting and reporting potential risks.
  • Auditing and validating system information.
  • Providing advice and technical support on assessment systems.


Technical Skills and Experience


  • The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:
  • The successful candidate must have a valid Grade 12 qualification and a relevant Quality related National Certificate or equivalent prior learning and experience, based on the job requirements
  • A code B driver’s license with driving experience is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years Airport Operations experience is essential.
  • Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.




The successful incumbent will remain calm under pressure whilst being tactful and communicating in a non-confrontational and polite manner. Communicating a point of view and writing professionally is also required.  This candidate will set definite milestones and actions for achieving goals as well as solve challenging problems. The ideal candidate should be detail orientated coupled with good planning skills.  The candidate will act in line with the dominant values of the organization as well accept accountability in areas of responsibility.
