Job Responsibilities

The main thrust of this job is to effectively handle ticketing, reservation system and telephone sales and provide service to Oman Air Passengers and Travel Agents. Other duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Should be fully conversant with all Oman Air customer series procedures. Ticketing and Reservation system. Reservation policies and Company policies and procedures
  2. Issue al tickets correctly and legibly abiding by all IATA ticketing rules and regulations
  3. Answer all incoming telephone calls courtesy and quickly
  4. To establish and maintain a good working relationship with Oman Pair passengers, Travel agents and tour operators
  5. Provide Oman air customer (passenger and travel agents) all service to the companies standards
  6. To be able to work under minimum supervision under the defined guidelines
  7. Quits fares
  8. To be competent enough to provide special service to passengers such as special meals, stretcher, wheelchair, meet and assist, etc.
  9. Adhere to all management decisions
  10. Strictly adhere to ticketing and reservation ethics
  11. Reduce reservation cost to the minimums
  12. Adhere to Company ethics and standard at all times
  13.  Groom, conduct and present in accordance with eh Company’s image.

Educational Qualifications Required

  • Two years college diploma in a related discipline
  • OR Specialized certificate / License preferably in IATA / Sabre / Galileo / Amadeus with Secondary School certification
  • Work experience in reservation & ticketing in an Arline / travel agency will be an advantage

Skills Required

  1. Proficient In English (Spoken & Written)
  2. Proficient in MS Office
  3. Excellent communication skills
