PURPOSE OF THE SALES EXECUTIVE POSITION
To create awareness and sell Air Namibia products and services to target clients and to approach potential customers with the aim of winning new business, as well as for maintaining existing clients.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS•To create awareness and sell Air Namibia products and services to target clients, as well as to approach potential customers with the aim of winning new business, as well as for maintaining existing clients.
•Execute activities related to market development and sales of the airline’s products and services within Namibia.
•Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS•Degree in commerce or equivalent qualification.
•3 (three) years general experience in the airline industry with exposure to all relevant functions.
•Must have a driver’s license (Code B) and own transport.
COMPETENCIES•Excellent sales, marketing, customer service relations and retention strategies.
•Ability to weigh up a wide variety of potentially conflicting factors regarding complex situations and to make decisions with minimal consideration time, but with potentially serious consequences.
