Applications are invited from suitably and qualified and experienced candidates for consideration for the position of Stores Inspector that has arisen within the Air Zimbabwe. The successful candidate will be reporting to Team Leader Inventory and Logistics
KEY RESULT AREAS (KRAs)
Inspects checks and codes all aircraft components, spares and materials received prior to their release into Bonded Stores to ensure compliance with Airworthiness requirements and Air Zimbabwe Quality System requirements.
Inspects and components and parts received to the appropriate workshops for acceptance checks as required prior to release into the Bonded Stores.
Raises release certificates for Air Zimbabwe spares to third parties.
Carries out surveillance of the Bonded Stores.
Carries out regular inspection of the Main Stores in accordance with current procedures.
Codes bar, sheet and tube materials entering the Bonded Stores.
Communicate with suppliers on discrepancies observed during the inspections of received aircraft components, spares and materials
Carries out shelf life control of consumables
Keep records of approved suppliers and monitors their record of performance
Maintains discipline, good housekeeping in the work areas under his or her control.
Supervisees and trains staff in the section
Ensures filing and safe custody of all incoming and outgoing Approved Certificates, Release Notes and other related documents dealing with goods entering/issued from the Bonded Stores.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum five (5) ‘O’ Level passes including Mathematics and English.
Knowledge of aviation procedures
Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance and holder of AME License
